Bird Knife

Based on the classic bird and trout knife design, ours are just a bit sturdier. Heavier in the hand. Starting with some sweet file work for serration and flourish, we then ground them flat down to the cutting edge - making a thin, lightweight, versatile blade that sharpens up nicely. Includes sturdy cowhide leather belt sheath, made as a camping knife - for camp cooking duties, cleaning fish, and whatever dad may get up to with this gorgeous beauty of a knife

Blade: Approx. 3 7/8" x 3/4", of 4/32" stock, total length 7", available in high carbon D2 steel blade. All steel should be kept clean and dry, but especially carbon steel which should be kept cleaned and oiled at all times when not in use.
